Greener Partners’ farm hubs are the heart of our organization and are central to our mission of improving fresh food access and education. Rather than owning our own land, we partner with mission-aligned organizations with underutilized land to develop and manage small but intensive growing sites. In addition to allowing Greener Partners to grow food for donation and Farm Explorer programs, these hubs allow for rich partnerships with our host organizations.

Guild House Farm in Philadelphia, PA

Greener Partners’ Guild House Farm is a half-acre site located at Guild House West, an apartment building for low-income seniors at 1221 Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia. The farm includes a production garden, high tunnel, orchard, and a community garden where residents grow food for themselves. Our SOL Food Program for city youth is based at Guild House, as is the “urban” Farm Explorer truck.

Deaver Wellness Farm, Wynnewood, PA

Our pioneering Farm-to-Hospital collaboration with Lankenau Medical Center is based right on the hospital campus bordering West Philadelphia. This small farm, with raised beds, a greenhouse and a beautiful gazebo, grows thousands of pounds of vegetables for patients and is an educational hub for local students, patients and doctors in training.

Variety, Norristown, PA

Our Norristown hub is based at Variety – The Children’s Charity of the Delaware Valley, which serves youth with disabilities. Our administrative offices are based here, as is the large Farm Explorer truck. We grow fresh produce for our Farm Explorer programs and for distribution at local sites.
