We offer educational programming with the goal of inspiring community members of all ages to experience fresh, local food with joy, igniting healthy eating habits for life. Whether on the farm or in the classroom, our programs provide a deeper connection to our food, our bodies and our farms.
Greener Partners’ FARM EXPLORER™ is a living, hands-on mobile farm that lets youth and families dig in and explore food from seed to plate. Our two trucks filled with fresh growing vegetables travel to schools, hospitals, libraries, community festivals and other events throughout the greater Philadelphia area for science and healthy eating education. We bring the farm to you!
The Farm Explorer farmer-educators can help you plan and establish your own community garden and educational program. There’s nothing like harvesting and eating your own fresh vegetables, and a garden can bring a school, club or neighborhood together in healthful and exciting ways.
Guild House Farm and the Deaver Wellness Farm at Lankenau Medical Center welcome groups of students of all ages to explore the farm and learn about the science of sustainable agriculture and healthy eating from the ground up!
SOL Food is our program for high-school aged youth in Philadelphia. We explore sustainable, organic, and local food topics, including growing and cooking techniques, nutrition education, organizing & advocacy, job skills, and opportunities for leadership advancement and employment.
Tri-State CRAFT is a community of established and aspiring farmers, dedicated to supporting the next generation of farmers and their mentors. This program is now being administered by PASA, the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture.
